What to Expect on the Weekends
We have four weekend worship services: 7 pm Friday nights; 8 am, 11 am and 6 pm Sundays. You can wear whatever you’re comfortable wearing. The Friday night 8 pm services and Sunday 6 pm service are traditional services with testimonal service. The two Sunday morning one (1) hour services (8 AM and 11 AM) includes a power packed worship, praise component and a powerful, relevant and practical gospel message. If you need more than an hour of worship, simply join us for both the 8AM and 11AM worship experience. As a matter of fact, plan to join us for our one (1) hour Sunday morning Bible Study preceded by a full breakfast that begins at 9:00 AM, after the 8 AM worship service.
You’ll see everything from suits, dresses, casual attire to faded skinny jeans – and everything in between – when you worship at the Praise Zone. What you wear isn’t nearly as important as you being here…so come as you are!
Come a little early to have time to park, find a seat, and look over the program and the upcoming events displayed on our large screen monitors in the worship center. The Eatery (breakfast) in the fellowship hall is open beginning at 8:55 am with breakfast served begining at 9:00 am, prior to the Bible Study Sessions mentioned above. We serve breakfast on Sunday mornings from the 2nd Sunday of October to the last Sunday of June.
Each worship service you attend lasts about 60 minutes and will include worship and praise, prayer, video and creative elements, a message from Pastor Porter or a Praise Zone minister, deacon or missionary, and communion is served each month, usually 1st Sunday immediately following the 8AM and 11AM worship services. If you feel like sitting it out and not engaging, that’s okay! Feel free to just sit in on the service and take it in. In case you missed the start of our monthly sermon series, or you want to listen to past messages to get a feel for our teaching, you can watch them online! We offer online live video streaming of our 8AM and 11AM service and special services. Also, you are welcome view our library of videos from our home page of this website or go to our Vimeo channel.
